The Transportation of Solidified Oil
In order to prevent sea disasters, oil can simply be solidified before transportation, making the task safer and easier. The solidified blocks are easily transported either by ship or train. In the event of an accident, these blocks would simply float on the surface of the water for easy collection. As they are totally environmentally friendly, they can be left to float on the water for any length of time until collection.
This simple system could prevent immeasurable damages to the environment whilst at the same time provide benefits to oil extraction and transportation companies, shipbuilders and insurance companies alike. The proportions to be used are 1:0.75. The active ingredient is slightly cheaper than crude oil.
